Anti wrinkle (botulinum neuromodulator) injections involve a series of small injections that weaken the selected muscles. The injected muscle can no longer contract, which causes the wrinkles to relax and soften. The injection usually takes effect within 2 to 3 days after the injection, and can take 1 to 2 weeks for the full effect to be seen.
